Sparks is located in the Truckee Meadows of northern Nevada.  The climate is mild, with lots of sun, low humidity and rainfall, and a full four seasons. Sparks was the fastest growing city in Nevada between 1999 and 2008.

• Sparks Marina Park has something for everyone, with picnic areas, playgrounds, a dog park and volleyball courts surrounding a 77-acre lake. You can sail, swim, fish or go windsurfing or scuba diving.
