Job Description

Interfaces with homebuyer and subcontractors to perform final new home orientations and diagnose schedule and complete warranty service work. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain inventory homes, and prepare homes for delivery to customer; provide quality control for finished. 2. Conduct homeowner walkthroughs, acquainting homeowner with all features of the home including the operation of appliances, heating/cooling systems, maintenance of homes, etc. 3. Completion of walk through repairs within five (5) day. 4. Schedule and supervise subcontractor repairs in homes after delivery to homeowner. 5. Schedule inspections with homeowners, assess routine warranty claims and follow through to completion all service requests within ten (10) days. 6. Provide accurate and timely information to Construction Manager on progress and scopes of work. 7. Maintain positive homeowner relations, provide homeowner with knowledgeable, timely and professional service. 8. Evaluate subcontractor and product performance. Provide on going information to Construction Manager as it relates to quality of workmanship and details. 9. Participate in emergency on call service schedule. 10. Work with the Construction Manager and Director of Construction on special projects as needed. 11. Participate and attend department meetings. In addition to the above, each employee will be required to cross train for position(s) within the division organizational structure as may, from time to time, be required by the Division President. Management reserves the right to change the duties and responsibilities set forth herein at any time.


3+ years residential warranty experience Previous homebuilding experience preferred Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Must be able to deal effectively with confrontation situations and maintain objectivity in public relations Possess and exercise mature judgment. Resourceful.
