Positioned in between Shakopee, Prior Lake, and Burnsville, Savage is a charming town just southwest of the Twin Cities. Conveniently situated near HWY 169 and I-35W, Savage offers residents easy access to major transportation routes. With the Minnesota River forming the northern border of the city, Savage provides great opportunities for fishing, boating, and camping.

The beautiful Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve is also located in Savage and offers popular mountain bike trails and challenging cross-country skiing areas. With most of the reserve undeveloped, Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve also offers great bird watching areas and was designated as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society.
