This is a nice set up.
Grandma Clark catches up with her granddaughter as she cuts carrots for her famous stew in the Next Gen kitchenette. “If you’re really here to be with your family, this is a nice set-up. It really is.”
Living together and sharing costs is a huge factor.
“It’s really beneficial to work together to keep the house running.”
Grandma Clark with thrilled when she discovered her washer and dryer were hidden away in the kitchen. “In the other house, I had to go to the basement to do laundry so when I couldn’t do the steps anymore, Bill would have to do it for me.”
A fun family home.
We looked at the home as a future investment for ourselves because with three children, eventually when we get older, it’s possible we could live in the Next Gen suite and one of the children can have the home,” Bill mentions.
In the main home, Bill’s family has opted for a pool table instead of a kitchen table. “We have a large enough table in the breakfast nook, so we tried to make it a fun family home.”
