The town of Florence offers residents an active lifestyle in the Arizona desert.  Catch a neighborly baseball game at Heritage Park while also enjoying additional amenities such as basketball courts, a playground, volleyball, a skate park and horseshoe pits.  Padilla Park offers a splash pad, open turf and amphitheater.  "Central Bark Park" dog park is located at Little League Park as well as a baseball field and picnic areas.  Residents also enjoy the Florence Aquatic Center complete with competition pool, play pool and slides.

Florence, established is 1866, is located 60 miles Southeast of Phoenix in Pinal County.  Formerly known as a rowdy Western Town, Florence has evolved into a small town of modern conveniences and new home communities.   Florence is rich in history with 25 buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Although smaller than neighboring Phoenix cities, Florence attracts notable attractions.  The natural desert and preserved Main Street of Florence were the setting for the Major Motion Picture, "Murphy's Romance" and Florence is home to the annual Country Thunder Music Festival.
