Communities in Simi Valley, California

An established "commuter town"

Simi Valley is the third largest of Ventura County's ten cities. Essentially a commuter community, with many residents working outside of the city in larger cities in Ventura County to the west and the Los Angeles areas to the east.

Home to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and final resting place of former president Ronald Reagan, the largest of the 13 federally operated presidential libraries.

Offering Something for All Lifestyles

Simi Valley is located approximately 40 miles from downtown Los Angeles, adjacent to Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and Chatsworth. Surrounded by the Santa Susana mountain range and the Simi hills, Simi Valley is known for its breathtaking mountain views.

Transportation to and from the city is provided by highway, air, rail, bus and water. With the Los Angeles International Airport 42 miles away, Port Hueneme 34 miles away and Amtrak passenger service available, you can easily come and go as you please.

Whether you like to stay at home or travel, Simi Valley has something to offer all lifestyles!
