A NextGen home design can mean many different things for people with various lifestyles. We are always surprised to see the amounts of innovation customers use in utilizing this space. There have been families that have adult children with disabilities who use the space to achieve a sense of independent living. Likewise, elderly parents enjoy the space because they can come and go when they please, but still be close to see their children and grandchildren grow up.
Generational living is growing in popularity because of it's financial benefits as well. Grown children share a home with their parents, thus, giving them two homes for the price of one. "Snowbird" parents utilize the space in the Summer months, and travel in the Winter. Some people even use the space as a home-office, to be able to shut the door and work in a self-sufficient space equipped with it's own kitchenette and bathroom.
What would you do with your NextGen Space? We'd love to hear your ideas.
